In the summer of 2022, I attended a workshop organized by Graphic Matters. The workshop was given by Jaron from Studio Spass. With his help, the workshop group was tasked with creating a scale model sculpture park. The sculptures were made from Styrofoam and covered with a layer of plaster. At the end of the workshop, me and Jaron also set up an exhibition in the Blind Walls Gallery Gallery.

The sculpture I
created is called The New Stoa. Stoa's were public places in ancient Greece, often used by philosophers to teach. The New Stoa is a reincarnation of this, giving people the opportunity to meet in a dedicated place for sharing ideas. The shape gives people a place to sit or lie down in any way they want. The integrated lights above arch over the sculpture as a representation of a bigger idea.
