Troporigniants was an experimental project where I created a set of restrictions for myself to push my creativity. The restriction confined me to the color blue, the shape of an octagon, and the word Troporigniants which was randomly generated. Through a process of creating compositions with scraps of paper, paint, pencils, and a technique I developed that involves moving the created compositions over a scanner while it's scanning. I managed to create these graphics for a set of nine posters. Working almost completely analog was a liberating feeling from my daily activities within graphic design, which tend to stay in the digital sphere. It also gave me an opportunity to evolve my creativity in an uncontrolled space, as I could only reflect on the graphics after completing the technique without the possibility of recreating the same graphic 100% alike.
