My photography focuses on an otherworldly environment filled with personas and creatures from a nightmarish world. During a photography session I try to set a scene in which a terrifying moment is captured. What led to this moment, I’ll leave to the viewer. A lot of joy in my photography comes from building my own sets and creating a small piece of an imaginary world. Every object, wallpaper or piece of furniture that is placed in the world is specially adapted for these projects. Most of the time I buy objects from secondhand, dress-up or hardware stores, and then I try to make them look old, dirty, or used.
